Angry Birds Birthday Cake
Play with your food already! Those are words I never heard from my father. He also never asked me what my high score was in NBA Jam. Jerk. Luckily for children around the world, there are some dads out there who are so cool, they make elaborate birthday cakes for you!
Take the lucky 6 year old who was the recent recipient of an Angry Birds b-day cake. The cake itself is epic, but the background story is just plain awesome!
"It's become a family tradition that I make increasingly ridiculous birthday cakes for my kids each year. So with my little boy Ben turning 6-years-old over the weekend, and appreciating his love of Angry Birds, I thought I'd have a shot a making him a playable Angry Birds birthday cake with working catapult and iced birds as ammunition.
Every year? I want to meet that dad! Angry Birds continues to make waves throughout society as it evolves from a simple mobile game into a worldwide marketing trend. There are t-shirts, plush dolls, and even Lego sets. Praises to the Angry Bird team for taking gamers back to the times of marketable main characters. It reminds me of Mario, or Excite Bike!
And now I want cake...
