“Just Jack” Will Be “Just Larry”
Sean Hayes has made America laugh while playing Jack McFarland on the hit TV show Will & Grace. He made people say "wow" while starring in the broadway production of "Promises Promises". And now he will make people jump back in time and laugh some more by playing Larry in "The Three Stooges".
Most of America knows Sean as an actor and producer. However, I know him as my uncle Sean who made me ice cream sundaes for lunch when he babysat me. It's amazing to me how his career has taken off and I am so excited to call him a stooge now! And let me tell you, I can not wait to see him dressed up as Larry! Once I heard about his new role, I just had to learn more.
I learned that it has taken quite some time to cast the role of Larry, Moe and Curly. Two months ago it was even rumored that Jimy Carrey, Benicio Del Toro and Mel Gibson were to be the three stooges. And then it was rumored that Johnny Knoxville, Andy Samberg and Shane Jacobson were to be the three stooges. Well the madness of deciding who the three will be has stopped. The Farrelly Brothers are now creating the remake of "The Three Stooges". Actor, Will Sasso has been cast as Curly and like I've already said, Sean Hayes has been cast as Larry. However, the hunt for Moe still goes on. Lets hope they find a Moe soon because the talk about remaking "The Three Stooges" has been going on for many years now.
Sean says "It's official. I'm a "stooge". I'm incredibly flattered and honored to be playing 'Larry' in the upcoming Farrelly Brothers comedy. I promise to try and bring 'Larry' back to life with as much comedy and reverence as possible."
"The Three Stooges" is set to be in theaters in 2012. I personally think my uncle is going to knock this role out of the park. But you'll have to decide for yourself when you go see the remake.
