State Senator Dan Kotowski: A Hidden Techie at Heart
It's easy to get angry at politicians for mucking up the debt crisis, or not legalizing [insert social issue here], but Illinois State Senator Dan Kotowski proves that they're not all lying lizard men. Kotowski recently sponsored a bill that allows the state of Illinois to invest in start-up companies and venture capitalists in the state, and was at Chicago's Techweek to survey the local tech landscape. I spoke with Kotowski about these start-up's potential, how they can help Illinois, and if Chicago can become the next Silicon Valley.
