Zygote – The Google 3D Body App

google-+

I think its safe to say that Google's thinking caps are always on as Google continues to develop new ideas and apps every month, or so that's what it feels like. Recently Google made changes to its login page for Gmail as well as re-vamping the look of Google Documents. Just about a month ago, Google decided to ax their Google Labs section in Gmail. Google Labs was an area in your email in which users could test out various new "tools" to use in their email. Some included were; getting access to extra emoticons, changing the look of your text in emails, etc.

One lab that became very popular was called Google Body. Google Body was an application that gave users the ability to view human anatomy through a computer generated 3D image of a body.  Google instead is working with their partner, Zygote Media Group, to relaunch the application as Zygote Body. It will continue to be a free app available for the web as well as Android mobile users.
