Z-Connector : Product Review
Z-Connector is a chain that connects your valuable smart phone to either yourself or your bag--an idea familiar to those who have ever used a wallet chain. Some of the options remain inconspicuous and simple, like the silver and black chain options, while others like the goldscroll DzC are a bit gaudy.
The 3-part slip in the packaging advertises “Peel. Stick. Connect,” but this simple product is not so easily connected. The actual connecting piece features a weak adhesive that will not stick on its own (requires an apoxy adhesive if being applied directly to the phone), but rather the product is meant to be used with the cell phone’s case. This brings its own set of complications; The piece is supposed to lay under the cell phone case and directions require “piercing” the cover in order to connect the Z-Connector to the phone.
The Z-Connector is based on a pretty simple idea and will serve its purpose for those to whom the potential of a stolen cell outweighs the hassle of assembly.
