Finally, The Restaurant.com iPhone App

After Groupon hit the market hard, it seemed as though the oversaturation of daily deals would phase out, or at the very least become less prevalent.  However, as with anything that wants to stick around it must evolve in the way it is presented to us. I was led to the Restaurant.com iPhone app and thought I would give it a chance, aside from finding nearby restaurants there are deals involved.  And of course, who doesn’t like a good deal?

The Restaurant.com app is offering dining options at more than 18,000 restaurants and 45,000 daily gift certificate options. When you log on to the app it will skim through the closest dining options based on your geographic location, or whatever zip code you choose to enter.  The different filters available are city, distance, price, and cuisine type.  If a deal strikes you as worthy, you can purchase the paperless savings through the app and redeem the deal at the establishment, all on your iPhone.

With the Restaurant.com App for iPhone, consumers can:

         Find unparalleled restaurant savings using the app’s “Deals Near Me” geolocation feature, or search for restaurants by ZIP code or city.

         View restaurant menus, descriptions, photos, hours of operation and other information.

         Purchase and redeem Restaurant.com Gift Certificates 100 percent digitally by showing the on-screen certificate to their server in the restaurant. No printing or paper certificates needed.

         Use the iPhone’s built-in mapping technology for directions to their dining destination.
