Texting, The New E-mail
Technology has an interesting way of transforming right before our eyes, mostly without us noticing the adjustments we make to adapt. There was a time where e-mail didn't exist, crazy right? If you have any sense about technology you knew that would not be the be all, end all of a new way to communicate. A number of years later the text message gains speed, fast forward to 2011 and you have 8 Trillion text messages sent.
It may never take over e-mail entirely but it has definitely solidified it's place in the technology world in being a main source of communication. In order to help expand the world of SMS (text) Zlango.com is adding another layer to the text message. Some additions include the ability to send greeting cards and use photo icons to spell out a message. In the coming days this can be used to invite friends to a Super Bowl party or sending a loved one a special message on Valentine's Day.
