Visualize.Me? No, Visualize.You!

barney_and_clouds

Since infographics are now all the rage, it only makes sense that infographic resumes become the new trend. Visualize.Me is now at the cusp of the future of resume deployment.  Uh, what I am trying to say, is that maybe if you make your resume look fun and hip, companies may think your time at Starbucks actually should count as contestable marketing experience.

By partnering with LinkedIn, Visualize.Me creates a beautifully drawn out tapestry of your work experience, skills, interests and awards. This method may not be as direct and visually stunning as Barney Stinson's video resume, it does offer another chance to create more marketability towards yourself.

What's the worst that can happen? After playing with the site for a while, it is very easy to use and fun. I was surprised to see how good I look on paper (must be another reason for why I'm an underpaid writer, right?).
