Falling Skies offers Personalized Trailers via Klout and Twitter
Klout Perks sometimes hit the mark and sometimes they don’t, but the new TBS Perk for Falling Skies definitely was one I was more than excited to claim. The perk allows users to unlock a Facebook Connect experience (currently only available to members of the 2nd Mass) called “Today We Fight” on the Falling Skies site that creates a personalized trailer for the viewer.
For those who are already lost, Klout is a social media site that allows users to connect their various networks (including FourSquare, LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, and Flickr to name a few) to come up with a number between 1-100 that evaluates their level of engagement and influence in the social media sphere. Then it gives them perks based on their score.
Falling Skies is an (awesome) TNT summer series that airs on Sundays at 9/8 central. Its set in a post-apocalyptic world following an alien invasion. The show focuses on Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and his family's struggle as part of the 2nd Mass- a group of soldiers and civilians that work together to survive and fight the occupying alien forces.
I expected "Today We Fight" to maybe have your name or picture hidden somewhere in it, but I was more than surprised (and probably looked absurd laughing by myself in the office) when the trailer pulled pictures and information from my Facebook profile--which is why they need access to your account. It takes you through a virtual war journal of what your profile (complete with mine and my friends’ fictional posts and comments) would look like if aliens invaded Chicago ala Falling Skies.
I’m a fan of the show to begin with and already excited for the season two premiere on June 17th, but this is likely going to have me counting down the days.

Join the 2nd MASS on Twitter @FallingSkiesTNT and see if a 2nd MASS member will share their code.” Or you can sign up for free on Klout and see if your score and topics get you the perk off too.
UPDATE: It looks the personalized "Today We Fight" trailers are now available to all on the Falling Skies website, no password required.
