Edith Ann Is Back!
I am too young to remember Lily Tomlin’s Edith Ann character from Laugh-In in the 1960s, but I can appreciate a fun game to keep children occupied. City Adventures with Edith Ann is now available in the iTunes App Store for $0.99. Voiced by Tomlin and cocreated by Jane Wagner, an animated Edith Ann guides players to different sections of the app, where kids (and adults) can play entertaining and educational activities.
Children will appreciate the different facets of the game, from the Word Wall, where players have two minutes to solve one of Edith Ann’s word scrambles by tapping on letters of the alphabet to fill in the answer, to the Snack Stack, which is an organizational puzzle with chocolate chip cookies. Many more obstacles present itself to you as you help Edith Ann.
City Adventures of Edith Ann was devised by MediaMine, a media management company, in conjunction with Tomlin and Wagner. The game is compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad version 3.0 or higher.
