Perhaps The Simplest And Neatest Weather App In Your Smartphone
There are many weather apps in the app store. But perhaps no one can get as simple as this one.
"Aren't you bored of using weather apps that contained glossy images and too much of data?" asks the app, "We present you a minimalistic weather app which just shows the right information that you want."
The app is called Weather Neue, a neat and straight-forward weather app that gets right to your question--how's the weather like right now? It only has one operation page with information of current temperature, wind speed, wind direction and a three-day forecast. To update the weather, simply shake your iPhone. To change settings, tap the name of location shown on the top of the screen and then you can change background themes and metric units.
This free app designed by Switch Soft Technologies Pvt Ltd was officially launched in Apple Store on July 9. So far, it only has English version.
Cult of Mac has just listed Weather Neue as this week's "Must-Have iOS Apps." Chrome and Analytiks are the other two on the recommendation list.
"It's as basic as it can be," says the article on Cult of Mac, "for those of you who just want to know what the weather is in a certain city--without tackling a confusing weather app--Weather Neue is perfect."
