MI:IV…unlock the secret, if you dare
Here at SocialTechPop, we often receive screeners and test materials for books, movies, and apps. So, when an indie TV show entitled MI:IV came across the wire, I was quick to dump it off to someone else. But, after much consideration, I gave the show a whirl. Watching, learning, and trying to figure out what was going on left me wanting more. The plot revolves around trying to find out the secret of a mysterious serum called MI:IV. As best as I can tell, the show is a 10 minute comedy web series.
Per their Facebook site:
Tom Kruze chases Dr. Vontroznik across the galaxy to unlock the secret behind his genetic mutation and the mysterious serum known only as: MI:IV. Can Tom Kruze stop Dr. Vontroznik before it's too late?
Spoiler alert: I don't know. But the show is still in its infancy, and has already garnered a cult following for its unique take on mixing elements of steam punk culture and 90s trivia. Their Facebook group page is riddled with riddles and filled with fun apps and games, so it is actually really cool to check out. The actors attached include rising star Dave McMahon and Justin Bronson, known best as the great nephew of action star Charles Bronson. Award winning writer/director Justin DiSandro is attached to control the chaos.
For the time being, episodes are being release monthly, so keep an eye open for them.
