MySpace All Up in Yo Face

I'm so vintage that I still use Xanga. On top of that, I still remember my MySpace password. But wait, what's that I heard? MySpace is making a comeback? Ok, I can't even keep up the faux excitement. MySpace has gone under some major improvements to fill the gaps in what they are calling: a social media void.

MySpace will be rolling out a new, revamped version of their once-dominant social media site, as announced on Twitter by celebrity investor, Justin Timberlake. The site is currently in its beta-testing stages, but the new platform is said to be a mix of Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, and will focus mostly on imagery and music.

“There is a gap where Twitter and Facebook do not always find the most relevant content for people, and there are huge areas where pieces of content can be presented to users in a better way,” says Shawn “MySpace needs to focus first on getting users back to the site before they could really be more attractive to sponsors. They should focus on partnering with content producers (music, TV, movies) and then presenting this to users in a seamless way.”

TL;DR
Your MySpace login still works.
