It threw customers into a frenzy when Netflix raised prices by 60%. Their solution to the customer outrage: a weak apology from Reed Hastings and the announcement, on the Netflix Blog, of splitting the DVD-by-mail service into a separate entity called Qwikster. Netflix will soon only offer streaming, which would be great if they actually offered a more comprehensive selection of media, other than dated British TV shows (and not even some of the best ones) and dated movies.
